As of March 18, 2025, singer-songwriter Ben Folds has announced his 2025 A Piano Tour, which includes multiple performances across the United States. The tour features solo shows, as well as collaborations with major symphony orchestras. Notably, Folds is scheduled to perform with the Kansas City Symphony on March 18 and 19, 2025.
In addition to his tour, Folds recently released his first Christmas album, Sleigher, on October 25, 2024. Prior to that, he released “What Matters Most” on June 2, 2023, which he described as his most true album to date.
In February 2025, Folds resigned from his position as artistic advisor to the National Symphony Orchestra following organizational changes at the Kennedy Center, including the appointment of former President Donald Trump as chairman of the board.
