Carl Erik Rinsch, director of “47 Ronin,” has been indicted on charges of wire fraud and money laundering, accused of defrauding Netflix out of $11 million. Prosecutors allege Rinsch misused funds intended for the sci-fi series “White Horse,” spending on luxury items like five Rolls-Royces, a Ferrari, high-end watches, and speculative cryptocurrency investments. Despite these expenditures, the series was never produced. Rinsch faces a potential 90-year prison sentence if convicted.
